On April 15, 2022, within Erasmus+ international project RURD (Role of Universities in the Regional Development), training for the academic staff was held at Shota Meskhia State Teaching University. Trainees were the affiliated professors of different educational programmes of the university. Interactive training was conducted by the trainers trained within the project.

Project RURD is the 8^th international project of the university. The aim of the project is to increase the role of Georgian regional higher educational institutions in the development of the regions in cooperation with European partners, which at the same time contributes to the successful implementation of the third mission of the universities.
