  • Directs and runs the activities of the service;
  • Represents the legal service in the performance of assigned duties;
  • Signs the documents prepared within the service;
  • Approves the administrative-legal acts developed by the structural units of the Teaching University within the scope of authority;
  • Submits a report on the activities performed by the service;
  • Gives conclusions within the scope of competence;
  • Prepares proposals and order drafts on the termination of labor relations of the Teaching University, incentives, and imposition of disciplinary responsibility;
  • Ensures protection of legality and confidentiality of personal data;
  • Consults students/professional students, and employees on issues related to educational and labor relations;
  • Ensures the compliance of the administrative acts of the Teaching University with the normative acts with superior legal force;
  • Enjoys all the rights of the party provided by the procedural law, as a representative of the Teaching University, to initiate a lawsuit, to refuse a lawsuit, to change the subject matter or basis of the lawsuit in whole or in part, to end the proceedings by settlement, to refer the dispute to private arbitration, to appeal the court's decisions and judgments, to enter a favorable or counterclaim, to receive and submit a writ of execution for enforcement;
  • Represents the Teaching University, based on the assignment of the Rector and the Head of the Administration, in state institutions and in courts of all instances.
